We just returned from two nights at The Hertzog Homestead B&B. This is the place to “get away from it all” and yet be within minutes of anything that you would want to see in Lancaster county. The place is spacious and beautiful. It is the perfect mix of the old and the modern. Our hosts were knowledgeable and welcoming. The meals were delicious, homemade and on our schedule. The hosts’ recommendations for eating and recreation were perfect. I just hope that this review does not make it hard for us to find an open date the next time we head in that direction!
